School Transport

A number of school buses come on and off the Hugh Christie School site the start and end of each day. These timetables can be accessed here (please note they are annually reviewed ).

To use these buses, students will either have to pay every day or purchase a Kent Travel Saver Pass. This will save around 50% of the cost and can be purchased from Kent County Council. The council normally offer a range of different ways to pay for the pass. Discounts are also available for parents in receipt of free school meals.

The website to apply is here.

Applications are usually made from the 1st July. In order that your child receives their pass for September, please make your application before the end of July, otherwise they can be delayed arriving and this can cause some pupils anxiety of they do not have their pass.

If in September, you have any concerns about quality of service or punctuality, please contact the bus company directly. You will find their details on their websites.

If you need to raise a concern about irresponsible behaviour, please contact the Lead Head of Year, Miss Midwinter, providing details of your concern (kmidwinter@tonbridgefederation.co.uk). Please pass all other questions to the School Business Manager (SFAStewartS@tonbridgefederation.co.uk).
